A three-year-old girl was rescued almost unharmed on Tuesday night, after she fell nearly 30-metres (100 feet) into a well near the Argentine capital. Rescuers in Florencio Varela, Buenos Aires province, worked for over six hours to retrieve the young girl, named 'Vanessa', the local media reports said. She was eventually pulled to safety with little more than grazes to the skin, officials said. A video camera lowered into the 30-cm-wide shaft provided the first relief when it showed that Vanessa had survived the fall.
